8 Ways To Build Your Email List |
| Stokes Adams, MBA |
|
| One of your most important business assets is your email list of subscribers. Why? Because you
can communicate regularly with your subscribers which allows you to build trust and long term relationships. |
| If you are getting started with your EFT practice, increasing your list of subscribers is one of
your most important marketing activities. Here are 8 ways to get started. |
- Publish a newsletter or ezine on a regular basis.
I recommend that you publish at least once a month, preferably at the same time of the month. By doing that, your
subscribers will come to expect your newsletter or ezine.
Be sure to keep your content focused on the interests and hot buttons of your readers. We have found that tapping
scripts on specific issues are very popular!
- In your newsletter or ezine, ask your readers to invite their friends and colleagues to subscribe.
Include a link to your website where new people can sign up.
- Include a subscription box on every page of your website.
Make sure the subscription box is easy to see. A lot of Internet marketing specialists recommend putting the box on
the upper right hand side of the web page.
In the subscription form, ask only for identifying information that you are actually going to use.
- Offer a free bonus for subscribing.
The free bonus can be an e–book, an audio recording, a PDF of a tapping script or anything that would be of
value to your potential subscribers. Be sure it is easy for your new subscriber to receive their free gift.
- Include information about your newsletter or ezine in your email signature.
Give your newsletter or ezine a name and use that in the signature.
- Print information on the back of your business card.
Again, use the name of your newsletter and include your website address.
- Post on forums and/or blogs related to EFT and your potential clients.
Remember to do posting in the spirit of Attraction Marketing by offering valuable and useful content.
- Ask business partners and colleagues to include information about your newsletter or ezine on their site.
Consider leaving printed copies of your materials in your partner’s or colleague’s offices. Be sure to include information
on how to subscribe in the printed copy. |
| I understand that it takes time to produce a regular newsletter or ezine. In my experience, it is
one of the best marketing activities, so I really encourage you to start one as soon as possible. |
