Marketing Platform: Features and Benefits, Your Marketing Message

Features are the characteristics of your product/service. Benefits are the value or the reward the customer receives from the features.
People generally make their buying decisions based on the perceived benefits of the product or service. So you want your marketing materials to be focused on benefits as much as possible.
We’ll go through some exercises on understanding the benefits of the products and services you offer.
The marketing message is where all your work in understanding your ideal client and your features and benefits comes together. It is the way you tell your potential clients what you do so that they can decide whether to purchase from you.
We’ll go through the components of a marketing message and talk about how to develop your unique message.
Clearing BLOCKS: Accepting Money For Your Invisible Service

What is it that makes us believe we should feel badly for accepting money for our true calling in life — the business and service we are really here to do?

I should not take money for my work. Some time in the past someone must have said or did something to instill the belief that you should give your time, energy and talents and not ask for, expect or accept equal exchange? Primarily in the form of money!!!
Marketing Platform: Testimonials, Elevator Speech and Website

Testimonials are a crucial part of your marketing. They are a key way to develop trust with your prospects. And they go a long way to establishing credibility for your claims about what EFT can do. We’ll go through the elements of a good testimonial and talk about systems you can put in place for collecting testimonials.
Everybody needs an elevator speech! In fact, you need several of them! We’ll talk about what makes a good elevator speech and go through a structured template so that you can develop yours.
In today’s world, your potential clients expect you to have a website. A website shows visitors that you are committed and serious.
A website is a great way to increase your visibility and credibility. It’s also a great way to develop trust because you can use your site to follow up with your potential clients.
In class, we’ll talk about some ways to get more visitors to your site and about some ways to make your site more effective.
